Court fencing takes constant impact and constant sun, so it has to be built for it. We install galvanised and PVC-coated diamond mesh, weld-mesh and palisade systems on properly founded posts, with correct straining, tensioning and bracing so the fence line stays straight and taut for years instead of bellying out after two seasons.
Heights are specified to suit the court — typically three metres to the sides and higher behind the baselines — with gates positioned for safe, convenient access and, where required, lockable for controlled use.
For floodlighting we install modern LED systems designed around the court, not just bolted to whatever poles are available. Correct pole heights and positions, aimed optics and glare control give even light across the playing surface, low spill onto neighbouring properties, and a fraction of the running cost of the old metal-halide systems they replace.

Three metres is the common standard along the sides, with three to four metres behind the baselines where balls travel furthest. Windy or elevated sites and courts near roads or water sometimes justify going higher.
PVC-coated diamond mesh on galvanised posts is the most popular for tennis courts — it is resilient, ball-friendly and visually unobtrusive. Weld-mesh and palisade systems are available where higher security is the priority.
A single court is typically lit by six to eight LED fittings on four to six poles, depending on the fitting output and the level of play. We design the layout for even coverage rather than fitting a fixed number.
Not when they are designed properly. Correct pole heights, aimed optics and shielded fittings keep the light on the court and off the boundary — an important point for estate and residential installations.
Yes. Retro-fitting fencing and LED floodlighting to existing courts is a large part of what we do, and it is usually the highest-return upgrade an older court can get.
