Terms & Conditions
The terms on which we provide this website and the general basis on which we quote for and carry out sports court work.
Last updated: 1 August 2026
These terms
These terms and conditions govern your use of this website and set out the general basis on which Ramzey GLM Tennis Court Maintenance (Pty) Ltd provides quotations and services. Project-specific terms are set out in the written quotation and acceptance documents for each job, which take precedence over anything on this page where the two differ.
Use of this website
You may browse, print and download material from this site for your own information and for the purpose of evaluating our services.
- All content, photographs, text, layout and design on this site belong to us or are used with permission
- You may not reproduce, republish or use our project photographs or written content commercially without our written consent
- You may not use this site in any way that damages it, interrupts it, or attempts to gain unauthorised access to it
Information on this site
We take care to keep the information on this site accurate, but it is provided for general guidance. Court specifications, materials, timeframes and prices vary with each site and each project.
Nothing on this website constitutes a quotation, an offer or a binding commitment. A binding agreement only comes into existence when we issue a written quotation and you accept it in writing.
Quotations
Quotations are based on the site conditions observed during our inspection and on the scope agreed with you.
- Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation document
- Prices are subject to change where ground conditions differ materially from those observed, where the scope changes, or where material prices move significantly before acceptance
- Any variation to the agreed scope will be quoted separately and must be approved in writing before it is carried out
- Unless expressly stated, quotations exclude work required to remedy pre-existing structural, drainage or base defects that were not reasonably visible at inspection
Programme and access
Programme dates are given in good faith and depend on weather, site access and conditions on the ground. Acrylic surfacing systems require dry conditions and suitable temperatures to cure correctly; we will not apply coatings in conditions that compromise the finished surface.
You agree to provide reasonable access to the site, together with water and electricity where required, for the duration of the works.
Payment
Payment terms are set out in your quotation. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a deposit is payable on acceptance and the balance according to the payment schedule in the quotation. Ownership of materials supplied passes to you only on receipt of full payment.
Guarantees and warranties
We guarantee our workmanship for the period stated in your quotation. Manufacturer warranties on materials are passed through to you on the terms offered by the manufacturer.
Guarantees do not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, vandalism, vehicles or unauthorised alterations
- Damage caused by ground movement, subsidence or events outside our control
- Deterioration caused by failure to maintain the surface reasonably
- Work carried out on an existing base where we advised in writing that the base was not sound
Maintenance
Surfaces require reasonable care. Cleaning, algae treatment and prompt attention to minor damage materially affect surface life. We are happy to advise on, or provide, a suitable maintenance programme.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, our liability arising out of any project is limited to the value of the work carried out under the relevant agreement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of use, loss of revenue or loss of profit.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

This site may link to third-party sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
